“When you think you should pray more, and worry because you are not praying enough, its funny because you’re doing it- you are praying the moment that your heart turns towards God.” Steve you’re a wise dude.
I was riding with the lady I ride for, who also frequently gives me lessons, and we were just chatting as we rode, talking about a young horse that we are currently training and preparing for competiton.
We were riding along, when we began to talk about educating him, and creating a soft and disciplined horse, that is obedient, works well, and is happy to be ridden. We moved on to talking about making him soft in the mouth- not a false softness where we must hold him on the bit and collected, but where he is truly soft, and is so on his own- true softness and self-carriage (under the direction and support of his rider). Then Lyn came out with this-
“I can’t correct him if I don’t give him the opportunity to make mistakes. I will test him, and give him the chance to make the mistake, and then I will correct him.”
I liked it.
Something I learned from my mum’s dear friend, who has become a very honest and dear friend of mine, Annabella- “Marriage is simply a man and a woman exclusive to each other. How that may look for each couple, and for each generation may be different and will change, but the thing that remains the same is the exclusivity to one another.”
:)
No problems! I enjoy your blog! Sorry that I didn’t see you had followed me earlier, or I would have followed you back sooner! Blessings! :)
